Advanced Diet (Recipe from ML Nutrition Book)
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup walnut pieces
- ½ head medium to large caggage
- 1 basket tiny cherry tomatoes quartered (optional)
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- ¾ cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
Instructions:
Cut the cabbage into quarters and cut out the core. Shred two of the quarters into very thin slices. Combine the cabbage, walnuts, jalapeno, cilantro or parsley in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the lime juice, olive oil and salt, then add to the cabbage mixture. Stir gently.
